How to travel light these summers?
Waking up in the morning to find out that you haven’t packed at all? Was your night tiring or you were out with your friends up partying before your flight the next morning? How to travel light these summers? Oh yea, we have all experienced this. The summers are at times stressful as a result of the scorching heat and humidity! Sleepless nights and butterflies in the stomach has made us anxious and insomniac the day before. In all this mess, we forget or procrastinate to pack! I shall recount a story of mine. It was a sunny morning where I was headed from New Delhi, India to Ottawa, Canada via JFK, New York. I had just landed from the Air India flight at JFK, and headed directly to the Baggage Counter post completing the immigration stamping. I literally waited for three hours as I was packed with 3-4 suitcases (omg, that’s a lot!). Meanwhile, I missed my connecting flight to Ottawa from JFK and had to book another flight, however from another airport in Newark, New Jersey (the neighboring state of New York). It was an exclusive experience but learnt not to carry much luggage while shuffling between multiple destinations.
