Recommended Travel Destinations

Some countries have unlocked their Covid-19 quarantine and have invited tourists to come to their countries and boost their tourism. This way, their economies can revive the lost earnings and retrieve the deficits. So, how about traveling? I have listed below my favorite choices of safe open destinations for you to travel to! Please check out my recommended travel destinations in the pandemic. If you are still under lockdown, don’t worry, you will soon travel! The virus is very dangerous & I would advise you to travel only when it’s safe in the other country to travel. It’s time to be safe than sorry (80% of the flight occupied while 20% vacant so that all passengers have enough room apart from other passengers!)

Dubrovnik is one of the beautiful cities that I have come across in Europe. It is located in the southernmost tip of Croatia’s coastline, surrounding the Adriatic Ocean and Mediterranean towards further south. The orange-colored rooftop citadel (as seen in the photo above), is the major highlight! You can trek around the place in 4-6 hours! There are cafes & souvenirs shops at every corner! It was a spontaneous excursion for me. You can check in my earlier posts about my experience, places to visit in Croatia & other interesting features and experiences of my stay.

All GOT fans would love the place as you have GOT (Game of Thrones) tours during the afternoon till evening. Also, the Last Jedi film in the Star Wars series has also filmed been filmed at Dubrovnik! More light to shine over this city! I will show all the hotspots where they have filmed! Some of them invite a small fee to enter the castles, but it’s worth it! You can explore both towns of New Dubrovnik (the modern part + yacht & cruise yards) & Old Dubrovnik (the Main Citadel + a ferry ride to the Island of Quarth ~ a few off the coast of Dubrovnik mainland). I am planning to go once again, anyone would like to vacay with me?

AMALFI COAST, ITALY

The Amalfi Coast is the TOP destination for any tourist! It is at the ankle (near the foot) of the ITALY territory on the physical map of the world! Just check it now! I believe that Italy’s major source of tourism income is from the Amalfi Coast itself! Just look at it in the above photograph! Splendid! Ain’t Amalfi? You must have felt to dive into the ocean and have a swim? Also, sunbath on the beach and admiring the beautiful landscape? Amalfi is one of the travel destinations that most celebrities flock to chill and relax!

Recently, I have been reading articles about such celebs! Also, if you missed an advertisement for Skinn TITAN, the blue and white aesthetics are inspired by the Amalfi Coast Region, and it is mentioned in the ad! How cool, right? UNESCO has determined Amalfi as one of the ‘outstanding’ travel destinations of the Mediterranean. Kind climate, abundant resources, and natural beauty have made voyagers and tourists come to this coast for many centuries, and the Greeks, Romans, Normans, Saracens, Arab-Sicilians, and many others have left their mark. Amalfi’s communities often cluster along cliffs, their terraces blending into the rock to add their own picturesque charm to the natural beauty of the coast. Upon closer inspection, towns like Amalfi and Ravello are home to many examples of artistic and architectural excellence (Source: Lonely Planet). Advice: Check out Lonely Planet books as well. Mykonos is one of the preferred tourist destinations after Santorini in the Greece nation. Being a coastal city with mountains sturdy by its side, it offers an excellent view to capture in your camera! Well, you can say Santorini & Mykonos are sister cities offering similar architecture and cultural scenes/landscapes! Do you recognize the city without even visiting it? You can even look back at the films and spot the Mykonos cinematography in a couple of them.

The famous film that I could ever think of is “Sisterhood of Travelling Pants” (both shot in Santorini & Mykonos). You can never get enough of this beautiful blue and white-colored city. Its Greek islands nearby are a must-visit! Famous for its minimal Cycladic architecture, Mykonos is full of traditional whitewashed houses and blue-domed churches. The trademark of the island, though, is the beautiful traditional windmills in front of Little Venice, where you can also enjoy the magical sunset and capture the colorful light washing up the island’s Chora (main town). Located in the center of the Cyclades island group, Mykonos is one of the most famous Greek islands for its cosmopolitan atmosphere and vivid nightlife! No wonder why it’s widely known as the “Ibiza of Greece”! Mykonos’s holiday is an experience of a lifetime and there’s a whole heap of amazing things to do in Mykonos (Sourced from Greeka.com)

The Maldives has been re-opened for tourism for everyone, well, those who are allowed to fly to the Maldives from their respective countries. How sweet? Male in the Maldives, the ultimate party & relaxing destination in the world. Right? Haha, it is one of the prime spots of all honeymoon go-ers. This you must agree with me, right? I haven’t been personally, but one day would love to. It is on my travel hotspots! Lots of countries to explore in very little time! You just have one life to live, unlike 9 lives like a cat!

There is good news for all travelers like you! The Maldives may be connected very soon by a very special air bubble from India. The Maldivian Govt is in talks with the Indian Govt on this matter, and we shall know the results pretty soon! What is an air travel bubble? Many Indian flights would resume operation from different airports in India to the Maldives before the International Flights open from India. How cool would that be? Going to the Maldives on a first-come, first-served basis! Well, sort of! For more info, check TOI. So, ready to rumble & travel to The Maldives?
