The name is ‘Dubrovnik’ – ring any bells?
Ever dreamed of visiting the GAME OF THRONES filming location? I DID!! That too in Dubrovnik ~ Croatia! You must be familiar with the Kingdom ‘KINGS LANDING‘ right? Well, this kingdom was filmed in the Older Parts of Dubrovnik Town! And I have the photos to prove it! Situated along the Adriatic Sea and an important hub of the Mediterranean, Dubrovnik has not lost touch with its charms!
Just recently, I visited one of the nicest locations in Europe – Dubrovnik, Croatia!! It is all about the exotic summer! Dubrovnik is on the southernmost tip along the coastline of Croatia (a European Hot Spot of the Mediterranean). A major hangout place, with cafes at every corner to refresh your thirst and keep your stomach happy. The famous Adriatic Sea gives a sparkly touch to the whole scenery.
So, how did I land in Dubrovnik? Which flight did I catch? Actually, I was earlier in Belgrade, Serbia (my 1st destination from New Delhi, India). Serbian travels, I shall enlighten in my next thread. But, first Dubrovnik! I had taken Air Serbia from Belgrade Airport onwards to Dubrovnik. It was a short flight of 55 minutes only, as Serbia & Croatia are atogether as neighbors! The flight experience was wonderful and you land on the airstrip on a mountain!
Now, let us all hope to a comfortable & nice-looking hotel to doze off & rest in! What say?
